Position Overview

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator will be responsible for security operations requests, managing client data, international travel itineraries, global beacon tracking devices, worldwide intelligence monitoring, and assisting clients under duress traveling overseas. The GSOC Operator will report directly to the Operations Center Director and the VP of Operations. This is an Associate (Intermediate) Level position. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build Mission Briefs based on client’s itinerary and required security posture
  • Coordinate and direct international security team members in support of clients under duress
  • Identify and prioritize emergency situations as they develop internationally
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a diverse group of people to include C-Suite executives, support staff, international security operators, international law enforcement and international operation centers
  • Perform Operations Center functions such as responding to phone calls and emails, entering and updating client data, maintaining duty logs, updating and organizing company shared drive files and applications
  • Conduct regular client interface and account management related functions while delivering exceptional customer service

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage GPS-based global tracking devices and platform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve possible technical issues of tracking devices and platform
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned including but not limited to assisting with marketing efforts and the creations of intelligence products
  • Provide support for aerial medical evacuations
  • Respond to crisis-level events to facilitate emergency extractions and protection as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years in a customer support/security environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Interest in executive protection, travel, and security services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with large corporate clients and high net worth families and individual
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Provide security posture recommendations for travelers
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Working understanding of physical security and executive protection
  • Military Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or related field
  • Travel Experience
  • Bilingualism is a plus

Work Environment & Schedule

  • This is a full-time, in-person position at the McLean, VA office
  • The GSOC operates 24/7
  • Start Date: February 1st 2024 or after
