Position Summary and Objective

Global Guardian protects some of the highest-stakes clients in the world. For many of them, our words are the first thing they encounter. We're hiring a Senior Copywriter to take Global Guardian's brand voice forward, working from a clear positioning and foundation, and turning it into the one-pagers, decks, web copy, and campaigns that move deals forward, every single day.

If you can write with precision and force in someone else's voice, keep it consistent at volume, and stay sharp when priorities shift hourly, this is a role for you.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Own the Global Guardian voice: ensure all messaging, copy, and external communications adhere to the terminology, tone, and positioning set by the VP of Brand & Strategic Communications, and apply it consistently across every asset and audience.

  • Write and maintain sales enablement content: product and service communication assets, client-facing decks, proof stories and brochures.

  • Produce web copy, blog posts, and thought leadership supporting ongoing marketing campaigns.

  • Write sales emails and other outbound campaign copy.

  • Develop copy for event stands and in-person, experiential marketing materials.

  • Adapt tone for our core buyer audiences and varying formats without losing brand voice.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, always-on environment.

  • Partner closely with the Sales and Marketing team at our Virginia HQ, to keep content moving at pace.

  • Work with subject-matter experts to turn technical security and operations content into accurate, compelling copy, with discretion around sensitive details.

Competencies and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or related field.

  • Proven copywriting experience, in-house or agency, writing across multiple brands or clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to write consistently in an established brand voice, while flexing style and tone across various media.

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a high volume of concurrent requests.

  • A calm, steady approach under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, with proven success working remotely and asynchronously with a US-based team.

  • Ability to see the brand's positioning thread and weave it consistently across new communications assets.

  • A tactical mind, able to apply strategic insights, translate it them into useful content, and demonstrate clarity of thought.

  • Understands voice at both the tone level (word choice, phrasing) and the structural level (how content is organized), including how that structure affects how LLMs and AI search tools parse and represent the brand.

  • A working understanding of LLM behavior patterns and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is a bonus, not a requirement.

Show Us Your Range - Writing Samples

In your application, please include a minimum of two writing samples across a selection of brands that show you can adapt voice and tone across brands or formats (for example, a product one-pager alongside a blog post or sales email). We're less interested in a single polished portfolio piece than in proof you can hit a consistent brand voice while moving fast.

Our Process

After the initial interview round, shortlisted candidates will complete a short writing exercise: applying our voice guardrails across three different assets from a real-style brief. We're looking at how you interpret a brief, your approach to the creative process, and how you turn guardrails into voice.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
