Executive Assistant for VP of Operations/Security Operations Intern
Global Guardian’s Operations Team is seeking an intern to sit alongside the VP of Operations and be a part of product growth, have the ability to be a part of strategic meetings and crisis management global response.
Be prepared to build products across the Microsoft platform. Strong capabilities in organization, language skills and writing. Will have unique opportunities to sit in high level discussions about strategic growth of a mid-sized firm. No day is ever the same in this role.

Our 24/7 Operations Centers in Charlotte, NC, and McLean, VA identify, monitor, and respond to threats and emergencies with on-the-ground teams in over 140 countries. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare mission briefs based on the client itineraries and required security posture.
- Identify and prioritize security emergencies as they develop internationally.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and resolve or escalate critical security situations.
- Perform administrative duties and data management using company-shared systems and applications,
- Manage, troubleshoot, and operate GPS-based global tracking devices on the platform.
- Provide support for aerial medical emergencies and evacuation scenarios.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including marketing and brand initiatives for creating intelligence products.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication; secondary language skills preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and de-escalate situations effectively.
- Ability to maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and others under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Position Type and Schedule
- Spring session (8-10 weeks).
- Paid internship - $15 hourly rate
- Part-time position and can be flexible depending on the current environment.
